After a great church service this morning we stopped on the way home at Salute Ristorante Italiano for lunch. Where do I even begin..from the minute we got there I knew we were in for a feast of deliciousness. As you walk in the front door you’re greeted with the ambiance of Italian music and the great aroma of food cooking, a taste of Italy.

The BEST pork sandwich in Berks! Try it once and you’ll be hooked too! The service is good but they are always busy so they tend to be distracted. I would give them 10 stars if possible!

The food was delicious especially the Caesar salad with their in-house homemade dressing. The wine pour was a little stingy, a glass of Riesling for $10?! That’s actually an entire bottle of wine but we all know alcohol is 10,000% priced up. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo, It was buttery and creamy perfection. The staff was great. The atmosphere was lovely and will definitely go back!

We went to dinner last night after a long week at the beach with our girls. The staff was so kind. The owner walked around and was seen quite often asking everyone how they were doing. Very courteous and kind staff. The food was delicious, especially the wine. A very clean place. It was wonderful. Our 3 girls loved the food as well:)

Nice surprise in this restaurant. All was quiet on a cool Saturday afternoon when we visited. Started with buffalo mozzarella dish. Great to share. Dinners arrived promptly. All were delicious and plated nicely. Ended with desserts. We tried each of the four. They were all good. Overall it was a nice dinner and worth the visit.

We have enjoyed Salute many times now as we live nearby. Everything from service, presentation and the delicious taste and quality of the food never fails to impress. Don’t even ask about the drinks, they are so delicious and when you get the shakers, they beat any drink anywhere. Don’t forget to try their pizza for pickup or delivery named Dante’s 900, it is amazing!
