This place is amazing! Every single dish we ordered was so fresh and flavorful. You must try the gumbo and the cajun fries! We received excellent service—staff was very friendly and attentive! The restaurant is located right on Lake Grapevine with easy access to the marina.

Menu said my food (fried catfish) would cost $16. I was charged 20 at the end of the night. I was not in the mood to dispute, so I went ahead and paid it. I also gave a $4 tip, but the next day my credit card record showed that they charged me $10 for the tip.

My husband and I love going to lake grapevine. We’ve been going for awhile now. But we’ve never tried Rockins Bar and Grill. So we did! It started off great. Got a really nice seat next to a window so we could see the lake.

Great atmosphere with pretty lake views! Makes it worth all of its deficiencies. Service is slow, and the food is bland/cold. It’s too pricy for the quality that it is. Our servers were friendly though! And I’m curious to see the vibe on nights where there’s live music.

What a fantastic place!! They were actually closing early when we arrived but the gentleman was so kind he invited us to stay, made us some great wings & the best fries any of us had ever had!! His from scratch lemon drop shots were perfection!! We’ll definitely be returning & I will be sharing more soon!! I can’t wait to try their other food that looks so good!! It’s worth the drive!! Great and friendly staff. Interesting dockside location, two bars and tons of seating. Food is typical bar food but try their burgers or catfish. Really good. Supposed to be kicking off their season with live bands and parties as of May 31.

service is super slow, staff needs training, had no idea what they were doing. had to retrieve our own drinks left sitting at the bar. over an hour to get our food and they werent particularly busy.
