Great coal fired pizza down the shore. We tried coal fired and regular cheese pizza both were very good. Coal fired wings were also delicious and Cesar and Greek salad were enjoyed by all. Our server was definitely hustling between tables and working hard, but seem like it was a understaffed so everything took a while. We did enjoy the food and service. Would definitely come back.

Came with my mom and we both loved it. Server recommended the garlic knots to start, which were great. I was thrilled to learn that the soup of the day was chicken noodle and even more thrilled to eat it. I ordered the shrimp and broccoli and man oh man. That was good. Will definitely be coming back 🙂

Best pizzeria in a 60 mile radius. Food is absolutely amazing. The mozzarella sticks are homemade fresh daily, the cheese steak egg rolls are mouth watering and the chicken piccata is the best I ever had. The owner was checking on everyone the entire time and took the time to ask how our service was. The place was packed and we still had great service and our food out on time. We will be recommending to friends and family!!!

Real good food. My brother and I ordered pasta, mozzarella sticks, and cheesecake. The cheesecake is heavenly. Nice and smooth, it’s the right balance of sweet and doesn’t have any god damn powdered sugar, which as an autistic individual is vital. Only thing is it doesn’t have crust, which personally I don’t mind. The mozzarella sticks arrived flattened, but I’m certain that’s just how they’re served. Regardless, they were delicious. I didn’t personally have the pasta, but I was told it was excellent. Delivery driver was nice. Kinda pricey, but this location was OCNJ, everything here is pricey. All in all, I recommend!

This is my first time ordering from this place but it won’t be my last. I got the chicken gyro and my husband got the cheesesteak. My gyro was really good. I couldn’t believe the size of chicken pieces that was put on. They were great! The garlic knots had just the right amount of garlic and butter per knot and the mozz sticks were so good and cheesy. The fries for my gyro were a tad rubbery when they got here so I will ask next time for them on the side. A vented container would be a good idea. The delivery guy was nice and the person on the phone was too. Overall very good experience.

We had never gone here before and I had a meal there with my family. The options sounded interesting and we got a variety of things. Not one person ever made eye contact at any time during our visit, or even greeted us when we first came in, and they were not at all busy. We had the same unpleasant young blonde waitress mentioned in another review, who was non-existent during our meal. Food was really lackluster and bland, except for a really delicious red sauce. Parts of our one pizza was burned. We could put up with blah food, poor service, or steeper prices, but the combination of it all together was really unpleasant. We will not be returning, and they really need to get better help in there.

What a great find Sals is….. I was visiting a friend in the neighborhood and drove past this terrific place of delicious food. When I drove past the first time I had the same feeling I have in Italy when I’d pass a restaurant that looked good and didn’t go in. I’ve learn that this is a good indicator that I should try it out. It always seems to work as some restaurants in Italy I’ve waited years to try …. But did and now visit them whenever I’m close by. Same thing here ! Really good food and polite and happy servers. I’ve now made Sals a stop and bring friends from all over South Jersey to eat here. The pizza is terrific. The veal parmigiana sandwich is a food blessing…… the best I’ve had since I moved to south Jersey 25 years ago. Nice sauce enough veal you know it’s veal! I highly recommend Sals to any foodie out there!!!!! It’s a BYOB too!!! Thanks for someplace that easy to be in and a pleasure to eat wonderful food!

The worst cold hoagies ever. $54 for 2 hoagies and French fries and everything was horrible. Fries undercooked and the sandwiches were awful. Bread was extremely tough and the lunch meat was poor quality and put together by a child it seemed. Never again
