I wanted this to be good soooo bad being as though I spent $50 total on my food….. it’s was awful. I don’t think there’s anything else to describe the taste but AWFUL. All I tasted was pepper, the POURED pepper all over the food and it did nothing but hide the mediocre flavor. The chicken was horrid, I threw it out immediately and the shrimp was rubbery. I had such high hopes for this place and nothing could have prepared me for how disgusting it was. Not even the noodles and rice were good, just dry and watery. Absolutely no flavor. This place gets a 1/10. And the one is only because the customer service wasn’t too bad. You couldn’t pay me to eat here again. $50 wasted!!!

So I got the lobster plate with rice and veggies. It was good but I wouldn’t say worth $38. But you don’t have to spend so much; I’m gonna try the noodles with beef or chicken next time. The noodles look heavenly! Should be cheaper and better. I also want to try their burritos, so I’ll be back a few more times.

I don’t normally rave about food trucks, but @bachiyaki_la changed the game with the hibachi burritos!!! These have lived rent free in my heart, mind, and soul since i first had it down by the Paramount Drive In. I don’t really want the hibachi anymore if it’s not wrapped in a tortilla. Then when i found out they had it DTLA and Melrose…I solidified my after move regimen There’s no tables or anything outside, and it takes a minute so i do recommend ordering ahead, but it is 1000% worth it. PS you can even get it with filet mignon or lobster if you’re feeling fancy.

I will not be going back. I will not recommend eating here the service was bad as the food. I paid $40 for the New York steak and shrimp I also added some sauces. The white rice was super hard and the steak was hard to chew. I recommend going to benihibachi instead. The food is way better there.

I love this truck! I had almost given up on hibachi in my area after trying the other two trucks near by.. Then I realized it was one last hope near my place! I honestly can’t get enough of this place I made all my office mates and all my friends go visit Beni Yaki! The food is amazing the staff super friendly especially the young lady that greets you! I will keep sending everyone to this truck hopefully this review will make you visit Beni Yaki as well!!

Here’s my honest review so I really think the food is very flavorful and tasty but the portions compared to the price don’t add up for that it’s overpriced they give more rice then actual veggies and protein. Weight time was not bad max 35 mins

Service sucks. Ordered my food @5 PM and they told me it would be ready in 20 minutes. I get to the truck 20 minutes later and forget about my order over and over. I was not the only customer that this happened to and it’s not like they were busy. I did not get my food until an hour and a half later.(@6:30 PM)Will now be taking my money to other hibachi trucks.
