Hidden gem! My family dined here for lunch today (Sunday), and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious!! I had the cold sampler, lunch size, and it was fantastic. It tasted really fresh and authentic! The bread is SO GOOD, I could have just had the bread and dipping oil and been happy with that, but it was even better with the sampler plate to dip! It’s spacious inside, and very handicap accessible, and clean restrooms! The staff was very welcoming and attentive, and our lunch arrived promptly. Will definitely be back soon!

The food here is so delicious! Very fair pricing and very nice portions. Atmosphere is lacking, but the service and food taste/quality make up for it. We happened to come just before a rush, so it took a while for our order to be taken and for the free bread & olive oil (with bits of olive in it to come out). But I can’t count against that in my overall rating because it was apparent they were short staffed. We were lucky to get our order in first before all those that came in after us, and surprisingly, it only took about 15 minutes (so not bad since we were scarfing down the complimentary bread and dip). We got a HUGE mixed platter for four and a couple other dishes for the kids. Chicken kabobs, chicken kofta, beef/lamb kofta, and yeero meat served over a bed of rice and garnished with some roasted tomatoes and hot peppers. I almost forgot, we got cubed liver as an appetizer (garnished with onion and sumac – I think), and I got a yogurt drink. Overall, super pleased with our dinner that evening!

Food was cooked to perfection, the mixed grill Kabob was juicy and had a pleasant charcoal grilled flavor.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to actually taste meat, modern Greek/Turkish and Mediterranean restaurants in general are throwing and insane amount of seasoning to make up for the lack of flavor.. it’s not the case of this restaurant.

Came all the way from fayetteville with my husband and it was so worth the drive. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Food was amazing , everything was so fresh and the meats were juicy and tender. We will be back for sure .

I recently had the pleasure of trying the kofta and liver cubes at Istanbul Restaurant, and I must say, the flavors and quality of these dishes exceeded my expectations.

We had the fried zucchini for an appetizer and Lahmacun Turkish Pizza. We had to pay for each sweet tea ($2.15 each) which is not the norm around here, but the food was excellent.

My wife and I have been at Istanbul Restaurant a number of times. The food is always very delicious, authentic, and well prepared. The service is great and friendly. We came as a party of seven with visiting relatives from another state twice. Like us, they loved the food each time. This restaurant won our heart starting with the first visit. We recommend it highly.
