Ew. We came here for lunch. I think perhaps they do not have enough workers. It took nearly 20 mins to even see anyone. The worker was sweet but the service was not good. We ordered the steak salad,.pb&j, bruschetta, and a Jalapeno pepper slider. It was all lacking flavor and honestly was gross. I love bread, but this bread was nasty. The bathroom was gross too. The building itself is cute though. This was the worst lunch we’ve had in a while. The best thing we ate were the ruffle potato chips. We will not be returning. I am unsure how this place has a high rating.

My family visits Duluth at least twice a year. When we do, it is my task to scout out restaurants. I found what I thought was a gem but found out quickly that it is not. 3 of us got the turkey Tom, and my youngest kids got the kids burger, and 1 of them had a PB&J. As my kids were eating their burgers, I saw that the meat was a little pink/red in the center. I asked myself, should I be worried? Nobody at the counter asked me how they liked their burger meat, which should have been much first sign something was off. Immediately after consuming one of my kids, they said they didn’t feel good, rushed to the bathroom, and had the runs for the next 10 minutes. He had stomach pain for the rest of the day. The next morning, his brother woke up throwing up. I am waiting for my daughter to get sick as well since she also consumed a burger. The rest of the food was just okay; if you have had a turkey sandwich, it’s exactly that a turkey sammich with 0 condiments on the bread. The highlight was the tomato soup; it was flavorful and delicious. If you do decide to come here, keep your kids away from the burgers. Since two of the three that ate burgers got severely sick from what I assume was food poisoning, we will not be back again.

We were in the area and saw the sign for this place. While walking in we thought we were at the wrong place. It did not look like a sandwich shop. Once the attendant saw us she asked if we needed a menu. Everything from here on was a very pleasant experience. The food was good, the upstairs dining area was fun and the prices were decent. What a neat place to grab lunch.

This is genuinely one of the best sandwich shops I have been to. The amount of finesse and details that go into all of their menu items truly shows how much passion they have for their food.

Was not expecting the seating situation – it feels like you’re in a quiet little mall area. We sat upstairs and food was brought out to us, but it wasn’t like a dine-in experience – moreso semi-fast food. Delicious sandwich though! Wish there was other side options than plain chips.

Creative options. I enjoyed my steak sandwich with pineapples (Steak paradise). Price was a little high, portion size was normal. Service was basic, an order and seat yourself; help yourself to water situation. No “welcome” greetings or “thanks for stopping in”. Food tasted very fresh, was nearly excelent. I just wasn’t a fan of the texture of the basil or “long stringy green substance” on the tomato soup but It was still tasty.

I love toasty’s used to go to this location and the old location when it was opened all the time when i lived here! Cant leave 5 stars, sandwiches are smaller then they used to be, less chips, and no more surprise pickle that i was very sad about. Food was still very good
