Our server, Danielle, was terrific! That said, everything about the food was disappointing. Let’s start with the seafood platter. $29 for 7 small fried shrimp, 3 1/2 fried catfish strips, 6 hush puppies and fries. But no cocktail sauce (found out after the food was delivered to the table). The shrimp were overcooked but the catfish was ok (but no cocktail sauce).

We were nervous after seeing others’ reviews, but Danielle gave us an exceptional experience. We had great (strong) drinks, pleasant appetizers and sandwiches for lunch as well as extra food to go. Our servers were attentive and helpful with suggestions.

I eat here every time I come to the casino; as I live 15 hours away but come here a few times a year. The food is alright, some of the appetizers are over priced. I have received good service most of the time, however, our bartender we had the last time I was there, his name was Brian, did a horrible job. There was a younger gentleman that didn’t have enough money for his food so the person with me offered to pay for it, and Brian reeked of sarcasm like it struck a nerve. I also caught a hard time from Brian after ordering a water while deciding to eat at the bar. I do not drink, however, the person that was with me does and tried to order a certain drink, and Brian told him ” that is just as bad as water”, so he decided to have water since that drink was $14 roughly. Will not be back in there while he is working, however, I would give a shout out to Greg who did an amazing job while we were there.

I had a steak at the Mix and Mingle while search for someplace new to eat. I was blown away by the courtesy of the host, making sure I had everything I need while I wait for my waitress. The icing on the cake was literally the icing on the cake. I had the best beignets I have ever had there. They were similar to the traditional with powdered sugar but a special kick was added with caramel sauce and walnuts. I thought the beignets in New Orleans’ French Quarter were the best until now.

I only had breakfast and was hungry for pancakes. I didn’t want many so a small stack of cakes was offered. Crispy and flavorful. I had fresh fruit as a side. I enjoyed my breakfast.

Waited over an hour for our chicken entress. Unbelievably bad kitchen staff. All the manager did was was apologize several times and she took control to make sure it was right….it only got worse. This place has gone downhill….diner beware

We grabbed a quick bite here after checking in because The Blind Tiger had over an hour wait and had stopped seating people. We sat at the bar. The bartender was good considering how busy it was. We did hear other people sitting at tables complaining about service, being ignored, etc. Food came out fairly quick. It was so-so. Fish tacos were a little heavy on the seasoning so they were a little salty. BBQ sandwich was ok. Mixed drinks were good and strong.
