A little disappointed that they changed their menu. Some of my favorite dishes are now not on the new menu, however they added a lot of new options so I did try what they had to offer. The food was good, but the portions are kinda on the smaller side so do keep that in mind. The atmosphere is like a dim candle light vibe. It’s great for couples trying to have a bit of romance. Also I can not leave out the hostess she was incredibly kind and inviting, she makes the environment very lively.

First visit here; had a reservation for 9pm on a Monday. Seated quickly but waited a bit to get a server, it seemed understaffed. They had trouble finding the wine my wife ordered, apparently they were out of the first 2 selections, so after going back to bar the 3rd time, the waitress had the manager stop by. He was nice and explained some issues with the cooler & remodeling…we got a few appetizers and sushi, it was good. We will try it again and see.

Prices are high. I got the egg rolls (3) and the fried rice without vegetables. The egg rolls were good. The fried rice was plentiful as it should be for the price. Both were above average in taste.

We decided to have some sushi rolls before hitting up the slot machines and we won big with our picks. Our waitress was Brittany and she was great. We ordered some items not pictured (dumplings, lo mein, and the drink Dont be Koi) and the items I did catch pictures of were the sushi rolls we tried. We ordered the rainbow roll, super crunchy roll and I think the other was thai triple tuna roll. Everything was great. I also thought the bathroom looked cool so I snapped a picture of that as well.

My partner and I tried out Tien for the first time recently. We had read some positive reviews and are attempting to try out every restaurant along the coast. First, the ambiance and design of the interior is very well done. The food is also very beautifully presented and plated. Unfortunately, that’s where the majority of the compliments end. The sushi and rolls themselves were lackluster. The fish itself wasn’t that fresh and the rice was dry, making the rolls and nigiri less than appetizing. We also ordered the lobster dumplings, which were tasty, and the miso scallops which were over cooked. It’s possible they were just having an off night but I won’t be racing back to try this spot again when there are other sushi and Asian fusion restaurants executing at a much higher level for the same price point.

Brittney was our chef at the hibachi grill. It was my cousin’s first time experiencing the hibachi dinner and she really enjoyed it! It was our first time eating at Tien and it was phenomenal! The servers were always attentive with the drinks and the steak hibachi was excellent! Definitely have to make reservations ahead of time for the hibachi, but def check it out…you’ll love it! 😉
