I had lunch here at Com Tam Thuan Kieu Restaurant today and was very disappointed. They had one elderly man as the only server during lunch and a receptionist that could scare Mother Teresa away. Aside from the personalities I paid $15 for shrimp and Chinese sausage fried rice that was marginal at best. Four shrimp and cubed pork that was not Chinese sausage. I had to box my own leftovers, and actually had to get up and get the box, I watched the server place the water glass on the table with his fingers on the rim of the glass, and was never asked how the meal was or if I needed anything else. On the positive side the place had a pleasant color scheme that was easy on the eyes.

This review is based on to go order. The fried rice was less than good, it lacked flavor I give it 3/10. The shrimp rolls were shocking I thought that it’s going to be something incredible as its my first time trying it but it was like rabbit food with no sauce. The two things that were great is the spring rolls and the short rips with rice .

Food was great, customer service was horrible I went to pay with my credit card woman working the register swiped my credit card then inserted the chip so came back as declined she then said out loud ” NO MONEY” so I hand her another credit card and she did the same thing swipe then chip came up declined again she then said again out loud “NO MONEY” it was so embarrassing. You can’t swip a credit card then immediately put the chip in. So I finally gave her my debit card and she swiped it and went threw immediately. Embarrassing experience will never eat there again.

I didn’t spend very much time here as I was on the way out of town and needed to grab something savory, satisfying and speedy! I wanted a fresh shrimp spring roll. I walked in and was greeted by who I assume was an owner. She was a well dressed, distinguished matriarch and I was seated and served my spring roll by an older gentlemen who seemed to be proud of his food. The spring roll order came out quickly and for $7 I thought the serving was ample. The rice paper was moist and not hard meaning that this was freshly made. The flavors of the herbs inside brought a smile to my face and an even bigger feeling of satisfaction to my stomach. When in Tucson I’ll visit here again.

Your food not that good your service so bad but we give you tips because about respect for the water for the asking for to take an order. This is the most bad service restaurant in my life.

Best bowl of pho in town and conveniently located next to Lee Lee’s Asian Market. The service is always speedy and the food is tasty. It’s always worth the drive from the southeast side to eat here. I love how they put a fried egg roll wrapper in the middle of the fresh springs rolls which gives it a nice crunch.
