Delicious brisket baked potato so big I couldn’t even finish it! Meatiest, most flavorful tender juicy ribs I’ve ever eaten. Fresh cole slaw. Potato salad is amazing! Love the beans! Sausage is perfection. The whole family is there helping out and are so kind and friendly. Highly recommend!

Literally the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time! Other reviews on here have said that chain bbq places like Rudy’s don’t compare and I HAVE to agree! Everything was cooked to perfection and seasoned so well, and it was so affordable! The potato salad is also the best I’ve had in a long time, have to mention that here. Mr. Shaw is very friendly and gave great customer service!! Would give 10 stars if that were an option. Definitely found my new fave bbq spot!!

I had the 2 meat plate with potato salad and beans. The food was outstanding! Brisket was moist with a little fat ( requested) along with a link of sausage. The potato salad and beans were excellent, the best I’ve had from any BBQ Kitchen in the Austin and surrounding areas. He gave me a sample of the smoked pork he had cooked today and the flavor was awesome. I look forward to returning to Shaw’s Country Kitchen for my next BBQ meal.

The customer service was out of this world! Love the experience, atmosphere, and the food. We all tried different things and I really like their brisket nachos, the plate, and the cheeseburger. Sausage was to die for and the burger was not greasy and had a lot of flavor! You won’t get anything anywhere else like this place, the whole family was so sweet & wholesome… it was nice to talk to them as we were dining in as well. Quality food & service, you cannot miss out on this place!

Will definitely be visiting Shaws again in the very near future. To start, the customer service and environment is top notch. I had loaded brisket baked potato with coleslaw and potato salad and it was delicious. I know that seems like a lot of potato, and I initially thought I wanted a side of beans until I found out I was already getting some on the baked potato! Cant wait to go back and try out the meat plates and fried fish! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good ‘ol home style country BBQ!

Me and my girlfriend came to visit Austin TX for a week to check out the area before I move out here in the spring. (December 15th as I’m writing this) we heard through good reviews that this place had the best ribs around so we took the road trip out from our air bnb to see how it was. Right away we were greeted with extreme hospitality and after he explained that he has more of a “daily special” type format rather than ordering exactly what you want he was quick to give us a sample of the smoked pork he made that day which was the closest thing to ribs he had, absolutely delicious! Me and her both got the smoked pork and it was absolutely phenomenal. The beans were delicious and had a Chilli type flavor to them, we both don’t particularly like potato salad that much and both finished the servings we had since that was once again, DELICIOUS. Will definitely be coming back every single time I visit Austin. Such a wonderful dude that’s extremely passionate about what he does and you can taste it. Personally gave him a handshake and thank you and we left absolutely satisfied and feeling like we just ate a home cooked meal from mom. 10/10

The best barbeque I’ve had and enoughfor two meals !!! I just picked up brisket and pork chops, both outstanding! The beans and potato salad are perfect, and owner was kind to throw in a big slab of cornbread as well. So good, we will be back!!!

The food is seasoned and cooked to perfection along with the beans and potato salad were exceptional. This includes the friendly staff that make you feel right at home in a clean place to sit and enjoy their delicious food. Stopped to check out things. The people are super friendly make you feel right at home. I ordered the chop brisket sandwich really good flavor but soooo much fat I spent awhile picking it out. Had maybe 1 -1 1/2 oz edible meat on an $8.00 sandwich. I gave up on trying to eat it. So I’m still starving. Guess I’ll go home & have peanut butter at least you know what your getting
