Went to Ernie’s Seaside one of the first nights it opened. The new interior was bright, airy and made me feel like I was at a beach side restaurant. Food was AMAZING!!! Can’t say enough about the taste, quality and amount of lobster in the Seahags Pie! Oh yeah! The shrimp cocktail was HUGE! Probably also the BEST cocktail sauce I have EVER HAD!!!! Drinks were great too! The only downside for me (which I can absolutely overlook due to atmosphere and food quality as well as knowing it was opening night – we all have our first time jitters!) the prices were a bit high, but again for the quality I’m happy to pay and the staff was a little slow, but hey- the jitters and pressure for an opening night?!?! I can not wait to go back and see the place grow! Ernie’s will 100% be my Hampton area go to!

A complete renovation to the old Castaways! It has a great, diverse menu including vegetarian and gluten-free options. The food was delicious and all made with fresh ingredients in their from-scratch kitchen.

This was our first visit. Food was amazing! The crab cakes were spicey and delicious. Everyone loved their entree. Live entertainment was outstanding. Our server was friendly and took great care of us. The pineapple cheesecake and cookie hot fudge sundae were to die for. Highly recommend.

My husband and I went on Sunday and had a wonderful experience! The restaurant itself was clean, inviting and beautiful. Upon entering we were greeted by a very friendly and professional staff. Our server Donna was exceptional! The food was amazing…we started with the crab cakes (highly recommend!), followed by the lobster app and a fisherman’s platter. All dishes were cooked to perfection and we were stuffed!! We found the prices to be very comparable to any other higher end restaurant with great atmosphere, amazing food and efficient, friendly and professional staff. Highly recommend as I know we’ll definitely be back!

Went to Ernie’s Seaside for dinner with my wife last week food was excellent and great presentation. The renovations on the restaurant make the whole place feel bright and clean great job! With the decks and outdoor seating opening soon, it will definitely be a great place to watch the sunset from inside or outside. The prices are on the higher end but I don’t mind paying a little more knowing it’s all made from scratch with fresh ingredients. I think everyone there is doing a great job! It definitely can’t be easy starting up the season brand new between staff menus renovations etc.

Brianna was a great server! Food was really good. We went during lunch and no one was in there. Music choices were awesome if you like country music. Great vegetarian options which is a huge plus for being a seafood restaurant.

Much needed renovation of the old Castaway’s! We were excited to try Ernie’s and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious. Crab cakes, scallops, and lobster pie was amazing. Mac n cheese side dish feeds two. I am big on cleanliness and this place was very clean, including the restrooms. Can’t beat the views! We will definitely be back!

I’m absolutely thrilled with Ernie’s. Over the years I’ve been disappointed with this place’s previous iteration. Happy to say Ernie’s is a new family favorite. 4 meals and everything with cooked perfectly and tasted great. Lobster roll made it into my top 5 which is tough list to crack. Chowder and French onion soup were among some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Drinks were cold, service was friendly (hat tip to Donna). Overall, a great experience. Excited for the summer and looking forward to our next meal outside on the deck.

After waiting at the bar for over 10 minutes I was finally able to get the bartenders attention to place my order. The beer was not very cold and at 7 dollars for a domestic draft. I ordered the “Flexed Mussels” and Captain’s Choice. After an extremely long wait, both orders came out at the same time.
