LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE, THE PEOPLE AND THE FOOD. I have been eating Great Wall for over 30 years. I used to visit my grandfather in Roanoke and we ate there every single time. Never had a bad meal, never had to wait, never had bad service. I moved to Roanoke 15 years ago and we get take out 2 times a month. This is a Roanoke Landmark.

There food is terrible taste less and don’t get me started on the chicken I got chicken lomein and I won’t even eat it doesn’t look like chicken the texture and everything is all feel rubbery looks like they chopped up a another animal even rat almost the noodles by their self taste like watered down soy sauce spent $50 to still be hungry bc there food is awful and suspicious only thing I can say that was good was the pork egg rolls the crab ragoons was dry and the sweet and sour chicken was soggy no flavor really terrible place stop lying to yourself if you say that you like this

I moved from Roanoke about 8 years ago and just moved back recently. So, safe to say, i haven’t ate from here in a very long time. I was very pleasantly surprised that the food tastes exactly like it did before and nothings really changed. They still have the best egg rolls in Roanoke.

I went here one day just passing through and said let me try the food there everything was ok until I got the food I got in the car and something smelled spoiled I get home take the food out and it smelled so bad I believe they sold me spoiled meat so I tried to go back it was closed I called no answer then when I get a answer and tell them what’s going on they act like they couldn’t understand me I’m going to call the health department for believe that they are selling spoiled meat next time your around there and there open smell the air out there it stinks don’t go here please I’m afraid someone will get sick

It’s a lot of food for the $, especially on the combo section of the menu. It’s no frills, but the chicken tastes good. Be sure to ask for soy sauce packets if you order to go. (Pic is well into my meal–huge amount of food).

Great take out, very good moo goo gai pan (my favorite dish). If they had fresh bamboo shoots I would rate as 5 stars. Those things are expensive, and this food is cheap, fast and delicious. At least worth a 4 star! Roanoke thank your stars for this and Best Wok. Many areas just do not have any good Chinese food.
