I had heard about this place from my coworkers and I finally decided to try it today. Boy were my coworkers right! The food was absolutely amazing! It’s so fragrant and flavorful compared to other dishes I’ve had in Corpus that claimed to be “Indian”. The chicken was super tender and moist, and the rice and was delicious! Be prepared to have enough rice to feed you for a two meals though, they are super generous with it!

We drove in from Austin and felt like home cooked food. Not quite how we make it at home, but good. We had masala dosai, Mysore masala Rava dosai, medhu vadai, channa batura, and tomato rice. The tea was very good too. Definitely coming back on my next trip here.

We visited USS Lexington and was looking for Indian food near by and this place came up in search. we had very disappointed experience. This is the most unhygienic restaurant and you could see uncovered food everywhere. Tables were not clean, zero ambience and if a food inspector visits this place without a notice, they would probably ask owner to shut this place off. Taste wise average but you could see all food preparation , trays with uncooked/cooked food left it open for long time. Cost: Expensive for the location, quality, and ambience. You could go to a very well maintained restaurant and pay similar and get better food and eat in healthier environment. I would never visit this again, nor I would recommend it.

I love this place. Food is authentic south indian. Best south indian food in the whole country. Dosas and biryani are delicious. I love the peanut coconut chutney. Veggie and chicken curries are good too. They do have some snacks and savory items for sale. The husband and wife chef team are awesome. This restaurant is a must try for anyone visiting the coastal bend area.
