Wonderful family-run restaurant. Walked in to see a hot bar where the owner showed us what was available today. There were other menu items we didn’t get to try but the hot bar served us nicely. Meal plus drink was just over $20. Food was very well prepared and well spiced. Service was impeccable with a buoyant friendliness that has carried me through the rest of my afternoon. After our meal we shopped the African wares, treats and snacks, and were treated to personal attention from the owners children pointing us toward their favorites. Can’t wait to visit again.

Best African I’ve ever had. The food was seasoned just right! Everyone there are very nice and helpful. I will be back again. The only little problem I had is you don’t get enough meat with the dishes, but overall my experience was great. Y’all need to visit her restaurant. Y’all won’t be disappointed!

The food that I ordered was not what I got. It tasted absolutely disgusting. The food was super sweet as if they poured a bag of sugar into it and there was absolutely no salt or savory notes. I literally threw the whole order away because this is not how Efo Riro or Egusi Soup is supposed to taste like.

I went in with no expectations I was just hungry and feeling adventurous! I was absolutely blown away by the quality of food, the help and information of all the goods in the store section of the restaurant! Waited about 40 minutes to receive the SUYA, plantain and jollof that I ordered. I didn’t mind waiting even though I was told that it would only take 15 minutes. It was just disappointing to wait that long to receive SUYA that was very tough. It tasted as if it was old and prepared a couple days ago. The jollof and plantain was fine.

Went for my first time on Thurs and I must say, PRESENTATION IS EVERYTHING FOR ME. The smell inside was pretty bad. Then, I went to use the bathroom and there was urine on the seat and no soap. Then I noticed, when I ordered my food, that she wasn’t wearing any gloves. The food was decent though and the beef was tender.
