We used to be in a partner ownership across the street at Tropical Caribbean Cuisine about seven months ago until the place was sold. Now we opened up our own place with the same food that we used to sell there at Tropical Caribbean Cuisine. Come and try the original food once made. Our new restaurant is M&J Caribbean Cuisine!

When I searched Jamaican restaurants near me this popped up. If you’re looking for traditional style food like oxtails that has the thick brown gravy, this is not that place. The oxtails had more of a cajun flavor to them but they weren’t very flavorful (if that makes sense). It came with 2 sides also unlike traditional where you get rice and beans, cabbage and 2 plantain. I picked plantain (those were pretty good) over cabbage. The food wasn’t horrible (not worth $21 tho) but I wouldn’t go back for seconds.

Nice area. The place was nice & clean followed by great customer service. But the thought of white people serving me Caribbean food doesn’t sit right with me. I tried to be optimistic & try the food anyway. Unfortunately I regret it. The presentation of the food looked good. My partner had a jerk chicken plate. I had a meatless plate.The rice was dry with absolutely NO flavor. Mac & cheese was also bland & the cabbage was rubbery. I was disappointed for going against my gut & not going elsewhere. Our food came up to $30 & we didn’t even finish it. I will never return. These people that left 4 star reviews are liars or just don’t know GOOD FOOD. If you’re going to buy carribean food, get it from CARIBBEAN PEOPLE!

That beef Patty was one of the worst and I got 2 thinking it’s no way they mess up Pattie’s this bad smh threw one away then threw the other half away that I tried to eat. Had no flavor, no spice, non flaky, meat was stiff and dry. Not true to Jamaican flavors and textures, order that atrocity at your own risk . Ya’ll gotta do better, I’m positive it’s not a Jamaican back there making it, y’all can trick Americans with this none sense.

Food is good, but sometimes my jerk chicken fried rice tastes spoil or my cabbages are over cooked as if they’re leftovers. The island breeze chicken is very good! I like their jerk chicken wings too when they have them available.

A billion stars! We had a corporate event and we needed someone to help us out. This place went out of their way to supply us with everything we needed and our company was obsessed with the food. Options were great and the food was hot! Absolutely delicious. And Gaston is one of the best employees I’ve ever seen. Truly went out of his way to make the event perfect. Uber eats has had a million issues with this restaurant not fulfilling its orders or having horrible drivers who steal. I would consider not ordering online with this place at all because your order would never be fulfilled and your patience will be tested tremendously.
