Excellent small diner right in the port district. Family owned, friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent and cost effective. Typical diner fare – eggs, home fries, pancakes, bacon, toast. Nothing fancy, but plenty of it, and pretty damn tasty. Excellent bottomless coffee as well. They serve lunch and have home made specials as well, that I have yet to try because I’m always hungry for breakfast The atmosphere is what you’d expect in a diner – plenty of booth and table seating with a bar counter and stools along one side. Patrons consist of all colors, races, and walks of life, all getting along and enjoying some excellent diner food. I don’t pass up opportunities to stop at this place when I’m in the area and have time for food. Neither should you.

Nice little diner on Allen’s ave. In Providence, RI. We stopped here for breakfast, it was my first time visiting OV’s… but I’ve been back a bunch of times since. The first impressions were good.. a nice little breakfast diner vibe. The service is prompt, and friendly. Everything looks great on the menu!! ..but I seem to always get the Rhode Islander omelette; which is filled with bacon, sausage, and ham. The server(s) are on top of the coffee.. seemingly constantly refilling it throughout the meal. I love OV’s! Go check it out!

Great food. Great location. Food was great. I went with my kids and everyone got some really tasty food. I got the sausage biscuits with gravy and home fries. So good.

Great big plates for affordable prices. Nice and filling. A bit bland in flavor but still great quality food for cheap. The service and staff are attentive and friendly. Nice small breakfast or brunch spot. Definitely a spot to check out.

I’ve been trying their food for years and I’m pretty surprised it’s consistently good. Feels like a real family atmosphere, even with the occasional bickering with staff. Lol.

I ordered take out breakfast. The “steak” if that’s what they want to call it was awful. A grey sad looking flavorless piece of “ribeye” It ended up in the trash along with the soggy mushrooms, limp over cooked green peppers & onions. Eggs with cheese were the only decent thing to eat.
