Edgar’s Best tacos in Pittsburgh and like my daughter claims – THE BEST TACOS IN THE WORLD. Wow it’s the best ever and the service is amazing. So authentic and we love the place. If you’re in the Burgh and over by the Strip District, do yourself a favor and stop by and see Edgar.

I placed a simple order in person, 6 carnitas tacos, and it took 35 minutes. Normally I’d just accept that some places take that long, but they weren’t busy and they informed us that it would be out quickly. Moreover, I was not given any sauces, the order was not boxed as requested, and my request for cheese on only half of the tacos was ignored. Each taco was $4. In terms of taste, I’d be generous with a 3.5/5. If you have some time to kill, maybe you will have a better experience.

I loved Edgar’s as a taco truck and I’m so excited they got their own place! I wish I didn’t live so far away from them or I’d be there everyday. Their food is authentic and delicious. I also had the très leches cake which was amazing! I loved the guac and chicken tacos with the homemade salsas too. I highly recommend!

Can’t say enough good things about this place. As soon as we entered the door we were greeted with a welcoming smile and a cheerful “Hola”. Food was served quickly which we were happy about because we were starving after a long bike ride from South Side to the Strip. Dug into and quickly devoured four tasty Mexican-style tacos. Two were chicken tacos and two were carne asada. They were all out of this world! Will definitely return.
