Horrible, poor quality food. Mac and cheese looked and tasted like it came out of a Kraft box. My chicken sandwich was gross and the salmon was raw, despite asking for well-done. Very poor quality ingredients at premium prices. I’m really unsure how this places has stayed in business since the 70’s in New Canaan of all places.

This place was very very good. A classic small off the beaten path establishment with a terrific atmosphere and clientele and good food. Yea…it was a little pricey but it is Connecticut and a terrific last chance station for a good seafood dinner before leaving New England.

This place was incredible!! We came here for dinner and the staff are so sweet. The food is great, and the workers are very attentive. We came and even got a free dessert for simply being kind to there staff. I definitely will be back!!!

Always a good experience when I go there. Everything I’ve tried is really good and the prices are average. Great French Onion soup and Taco Salad with Buffalo Chicken, although my two favorites on the menu are the Vermonster Burger with a fried egg, and the NY Strip Steak with the blue cheese and fried onions on top.

I’ve had lunch there and could not be happier with the service. Everyone is Soo nice and accommodating. The place has this antique vibe while being super clean and Covid-19 aware. I had no worries of dining in. The food was good, I give the food the 4 stars and everything else will be 5.

This bar is supreme. It is affordable, comfortable and genuine. It’s like the Town of New Canaan’s family dining room. Everyone receives what they ask for, everyone is always treated right and no one is a stranger. And please stop calling here and asking if they take reservations, it is first come first serve, the seats fill up every time – you want a seat, you’ll have to get here first and earn it. And you will be rewarded each time. The servers are friendly and hard-working and the bar tenders are attentive, true and trusty. Dan will provide you a well stocked, orderly bar; Mark is your Commander-in-Chief of harmony and good spirits, and then there is Nikita; oh Nikita he will push you to your highest potential, whether you know it or not. Simply put this bar is awesome. It’s an institution. It provides good food, at a good cost; a hardy drink, at a fair price, and; provides a place where the entire town is welcome and gets along mighty fine, each time they visit.
