One of many Mexican restaurants in small town Ephrata WA, but in my opinion it’s the BEST Mexican restaurant in town. I ate here twice on my trip home. First time I had the long awaited Arroz con Pollo(cannot get this dish in Arizona) and it was exactly what I expected and had been craving. The second night my friend and I splurged and shared the Molcajete-Surf and Turf with a couple of Margaritas on the rocks which were made to perfection and not pre mixed.

Had a group of 4. Was seated promptly and our drink order was taken. The waiter was very patient with me as i never know what i want. Warm chips and salsa were brought out to the table and refilled while we all chatted. We ordered 4 different entrees and everyone was very happy with the choice that they made. The other couple we were with are locals and they said it was better than their other favorite mexican restaurant in town.

The service was great, our guy was nice and attentive with a positive attitude. Our food was good. My daughter’s taco salad came out sitting in water, with water pouring out of it. I asked for a new plate so we could put the salad part on it, because she doesn’t eat the shell anyway so it didn’t matter that the shell was soggy, but they completely redid her order.

Over all it was ok the shrimp on the aguachiles were to raw for my taste and the sauce was not spicy at all, I asked for really spicy and all they did was just add more sauce on top of it instead of making the sauce spicy. The fresh pineapple water was the best thing I had that evening. Could use some improvement on the sauce and preparation of the shrimp. The presentation of the dish was good.

Friendly staff, accurate and accommodating orders, delicious food at competitive prices. Best to pay in cash due to the card fee at the register. My family likes to come here every so often and we’ve always left satisfied. They’ve got a Mexican Pizza that puts Taco Bell to shame, as they give you about two times more food for only 50% higher price. I also love the sauces they gave for their shrimp, mushroom dishes and chips. As someone who can’t tolerate spice, they’ve always been good about giving me food that didn’t bother me.

I’m always a bit apprehensive about dinning in Mexican restaurants as I could just make the food at home. My family and O were visiting a family member and decided to try this place out. THIS WILL BECOME A MUST STOP EVERY TRIP. The food was so authentic. Also, not only do you get chips and salsa but you also get a small plate of fried beans and another of melted cheese. The staff was beyond kind. My husband and son went back the next morning for breakfast and it too did not disappoint. This molcajete has thw best tasting sauce than any other mocajete I’ve, and other members of my party, have tried.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in town! Not only do they give you chips and salsa they also include a bean dip and white queso dip as well. Great service and delicious food. They also have a special menu for students since they are close to Ephrata High School.
