What a very pleasant experience I had dining at Lake Avenue restaurant in Crandon today. Upon entering the establishment I was impressed by the remodeled dining area. Our server, Angela, was very attentive but ordering our lunches was very difficult as the selection of their menu had too many tempting choices. Our food came quickly to the table and everything was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed the July special the focaccia chicken sandwich, which truly was exceptional. Kudos to Melissa who prepared all of our delicious food. For a small town restaurant Melissa’s cooking skills were on par of that of a seasoned trained chef. Presentation was exceptional. If you’re ever in the Crandon Wisconsin area I hope you’ll take the time to stop and enjoy a meal at Lake Avenue restaurant. You won’t be disappointed that you did.

I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good. We ordered specials: Greek salad and Thai food. See the attached pics, they tell more than words. The personnel was polite and respectful. I’ve been to places where they serve just ok food and ask 10 times if it is ok. Here, they served really good food and were just trying to be helpful. Thank you for that. Yes, do not expect high-level ambience, but in the countryside, it gives it a character. I already have recommended the place to friends. We will be back for sure. Wish the Lake Avenue Restaurant all the best.

Excellent food. I had the Wisconsin burger and my husband the loaded Italian beef. This was probably the best burger I’ve had in a long time. We will definitely go back!! But this time with cash. There is a 4%fee for debit/credit cards.
