Old fashioned American diner style that made me feel nostalgic a bit! They service fresh brewed coffee ☕️ and fresh local produce as well. My kids had the Semi meal that comes with eggs cooked the way you prefer, French toast and a side of fruit salad. For vegetarian and vegans there’re few options but you can also ask to remove the meat from your dish!

Had breakfast and it absolutely did not disappoint. The atmosphere is a fun, welcoming and cozy vibe. The server did an okay job just seemed a little distracted. My wife and I still had quite a bit of food on our plates when the server asked if we were ready to go. We had omelettes which were very good sized, well cooked and a plentiful amount of filling. All the ingredients were fresh, seasoned well and cooked nicely. Had a side of bacon that was not overly crisp which is just how I like it. Johnnys has been a staple in Newton Center for a long time and with very good reason

Amazing atmosphere and has a very vibrant interior. Service is also very fast and friendly. There was a line as well during breakfast and that’s how you know this place is good. They do all the classics very well.

Great location, retro setting, wide range of menu items. Food was decent at best and service was subpar. Prices are also very high for the quality of food served. Unless you have nostalgia for this place, try somewhere else. Greasy spoons are a dime a dozen in New England and less established places probably want your business more than here

Great time with an old friend. I got the western omelette with cheddar and homefries. My friend got blueberry pancakes. Only suggestion we had was more syrup right away. Like that the homefries had onions.

A really nice place to eat! We loved the decoration, the delicious food and the many options they have. Last but not least: service! Our waitress explained what ever we needed, she checked with us if everything was good and offered options regarding beverages. Our Airbnb owner recommended it to us, and now is my turn! Well done! By the way, we were visiting Boston for the very first time and this is a must visit place!
