I had a great experience at this Persian restaurant! The quality of the dishes was outstanding – the flavors were vibrant, and each dish was cooked to perfection. Outstanding! The lamb kabob has so much flavor! The soup was very good and we upgraded to the rice with raisins and dates. It was sweet in a subtle way and matched the lamb perfectly. Make a reservation. Make a reservation. I repeat. Make a reservation. They were so busy. We would order from here any day of the week Monday – Sunday. The chicken kabob called Green Jojeh Kabob was so flavorful and tender. Lot of herbs. So happy to have this gem in Park Ridge. We will be regulars.

Shemroon is definitely one of my favorite places for kabab in the Chicagoland area. First, the setting and ambiance of the restaurant is nice, modern and upscale. Chairs and tables were very comfortable. We got the staff-recommended appetizer of mirza ghasemi (smoked eggplant & garlic dip) which was delicious, a great way to start the meal, unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of it. My main course was the combo koobideh (chicken and beef skewers) served with dill rice, onions, pickled cabbage, and a grilled tomato. The meat was succulent and juicy. The rice was fluffy and tasty. This meal down to the last bite was delicious. Dessert was some baklava and their vanilla roll. Both were very good, a nice complement to the meal. Price point was about $45 a person but worth every penny. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an upscale kabab place with food that doesn’t disappoint.

The Darbari Kabab was delicious. A very considerate waiter served us and we really enjoyed the delicate persian Vanilla Roll with persian tea for dessert. I will go back definitely.

Joojeh kebab was delicious and juicy, but chenjeh kebab was a little overcooked and not as soft and juicy. The food was a little bit overpriced for the portions compared to other persian restaurants in the city. I will definitely go there again and update my review. The place and staff were nice.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and plays great music throughout the meal. the staff are very helpful and friendly also they make amazing cocktails and their menu is very rich.
