we took my folks from out of town to eat here. the food was delicious. the service was friendly and prompt. we didn’t have drinks but there’s a bar in one section and couple pool tables in another. I’m looking forward to live music there tomorrow night!

Diggs is a wonderful place to eat. The food is great. The sirloin steak was wonderful. The service was fast and friendly. The owner checks on his guests personally, is full of jokes, and makes sure everyone is having a good time. There is also a bar and a covered outside area with a stage and dance floor, as well as an area with pool tables.

Absolute favorite part of our San Saba vacation. We ate dinner here for my mother in laws birthday. Digger and staff were great and awesome attitude. The food was top notch I had chicken fried steak and it was as big as the plate and tasted like someone’s grandma cooked it. My 7 year old enjoyed it as much as we did. The pet rooster Kernel is a must see and Shelly the turtle. It’s a 10 out 10 recommend from us if yall are in the area.

I recently visited a bar in San Saba called “Diggs” and had an amazing time! The owner, who is also a comedian, kept us entertained all night with hilarious jokes and stories. The bar has a unique charm with its rustic decor and friendly staff. The real star of the show, however, was the rooster named Colonel, who strutted around the bar like he owned the place. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was lively. I highly recommend checking out Diggs if you’re ever in San Saba!!

The owner, Digger with a D, is incredible. Definitely serves the best meat in all of San Saba. Keep you wives on a tight leash around him though, he’s a real ladies man. His Emotional Support Rooster, The Colonel” is the mascot every bar needs.
