This is by far the best sushi in Auburn. I have spent my birthday here several times, and they are more than accommodating. The owners are hands-on and super hospitable. Their upstairs loft is great for larger tables. Their fish is always fresh, and their rolls are great value. Try the “oh my God” roll. It’ll knock your socks off.

Our first dinner at Hanami and the service was great. The restaurant was quite full so we ate at the bar. We had calamari, 911 roll, Auburn roll, and New Player. All very good and tasty. The electricity went out because of a strong storm and they made our last roll in candlelight! Everyone there was so very nice and patient with the difficulty of no power. We’ll definitely be back!
