Coming from the west coast (that’s my hook), it was ok. The prices were reasonable, and so was the food, not great, but reasonable. Wouldn’t recommend the scallop hand roll (wasn’t fresh to my taste), but the fish was good and fresh. I love Tobiko with egg, and was happy to see it on the menu, but it was goopy because they left the egg white (you’re supposed to only use the yolk). The hand rolls are worth while, good price and quantity, get that.

One of the best sushi restaurants in town. My friends are vegetarian and genki ya has the best menu for vegetarian sushi roll. They have another location in Boston and it has really good drinks too. They have a lunch special where they serve you complimentary salad and miso soup. The staff is very friendly too.

Very tasty and fast! Tonight, we tried the classics: Alaskan roll, shrimp tempura, yellow tail roll, and pickled mackerel. They were all super fresh and delicious! I also liked that the whole menu was picture- based. We are definitely coming back for more!
