This was okay. The food was just okay. I would not return here. The salmon was so dry I couldn’t eat it. The rib tips were amazing. The pork bites were also disgusting and hard to eat. The catfish nuggets were okay. I would not recommend going here or return again ever. All the servers were encountered were very nice. The bread pudding was just too sweet – why is it so many calories?

Unimpressive. I got the burnt ends. Texture was tough, chewy. The Mac n cheese was OK. Could have been a lot better for what they’re charging. All they would have to do is put it under a broiler for a couple of min. They claim it’s spicy but the burnt ends were twice as spicy and there was no warning in the menu about that. Broccoli was unseasoned and unbuttered. If you don’t know any better you might like the food here. They could do better for the money they’re charging.

The service was fair, I just wish the server checked on us more often. The catfish was pretty good, just fried a little hard for my liking, but seasoned well. The red skin mashed potatoes were delicious. My significant other said the man bathroom wasn’t up to par. Plenty of parking and seating.

Placed an order online 10/28/22. I paid an extra $4 for the center cut ribs. I checked my food before I left and could instantly tell i had ribs that were towards the end of the slab. Ribs were super dry. When you pay decent money, you expect some kind of quality. Take a look at the photos I have. I usually let them slide because of worker shortage but this a $30 meal.

I like them for the daily specials and when I need some consistent BBQ. Though I do try other things I usually am a fan of the Rib Tips (ask for the old school) and get salad corn and fries to enjoy. Service is usually great though in the years going you always get that one or two. Overall been a family dinner for 5 or more of us for a really long time since they opened.

My family and I had dinner here for Father’s Day. Although my husband didn’t particularly like his meal, the hot sausage, the service was amazing. As the manager came to check on tables, he stopped at ours. When he found out that my husband didn’t enjoy his meal, he offered something else off the menu for free, another meal or a dessert, and we chose the delicious rice pudding. Our server was Jaime; she made sure we had everything we needed and was on the ball with our drinks and extra add ons. Together, those two worked their hardest to make sure we had the best experience possible. We’ll definitely be back.
