Stopped by for a call in order while visiting Holden Beach. Place was very crowded but we walked right in, paid for our food and had it within 5 minutes. We ordered Garlic Knots, Chef Salad, Half BBQ Half Buffalo Pizza and Half Pepperoni Half Cheese Pizza. Everything was very delicious and the chef salad was enough for 2 people. Great prices also! Highly recommend Patronie’s!

We ordered a margherita pizza and two house salads. The salads were fresh and good, but the pizza was not even a margherita pizza. There was no basil and barely any cheese. The bottom was soggier than a wet paper bag. My niece ate most of it because she was hungry and then got sick later that night. I don’t know if they were having a bad night or what but I was very disappointed

We arrived on a Wednesday evening around 6:30, the restaurant was nowhere near full and the server we had treated us as though he was too busy to care. He was very rude when he approached our tables, as well as the other servers running around they seemed to not really care to be there. The pizza we were told would be New York style and the crust was very dry and flavorless similar to a frozen pizza. The cheese bread was a small portion and was $10… overall would not return or recommend to anyone, just very bland and nothing to brag about.

30 bucks ordered 2 chicken Alfredo’s and this is what you get. Bland dry pasta, frozen chicken and to top it off two measly little dough knots. Sad for the price you pay for. Wanted to give this locally owned restaurant a shot and it was a total miss. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was for those mozzarella sticks that are pretty delicious. If you plan on coming here, stick to the pizza and mozzarella sticks.

We decided to eat dinner here the Saturday we arrived at the beach. It was getting pretty late so we chose this pizza place over the others nearby because they stayed open until 9:30. I am so glad we chose to eat here. The pizza was the best I have ever had. I dont normally eat the crust on pizza, but I finished off ever crumb. It was light, airy, and delicious.

Patronies has been a must stop for us every time we come to visit Holden Beach and each time,our experience has been pleasant; that is, until last night. We came in on a Wednesday evening. There was plenty of seating available inside and outside. Since we are traveling with our busy two year old, we opted for outside. We ordered very shortly after arriving and still had not received our order after 45 minutes. We were told the kitchen was busy. I’m sure it was, as we watched folks roll into the parking lot, one right after another, for takeout. It seems that Patronies prioritizes takeout orders instead of in house orders. We ended up asking for our order to go, which was another 15 minutes before we got our pizza.

This was our second time getting takeout from this restaurant. The pizza the first time was great although it could’ve been a little bit more well done. However, the salad that we had this evening was subpar. The grilled chicken that was to be placed on our Caesar salad, was crumpled up in some tinfoil And so over cooked that essentially was chicken jerky. I would not have served that chicken to my customers if this was my restaurant.

One bite everyone knows the rules 6.1. It took some time for pickup + drive home and pizza was cold. If it were hot, that score could possibly have bumped to a 6.6. Crust was solid, but cheese and sauce left something to be desired. Wings were also mediocre – decent but not at all great.

Not really much to say about this experience… Food was decent, nothing special, pizza was decent, again, nothing special. Service was good… The young girl who waited on us was very attentive and nice. Just not feeling anything really other than meh… I will say tho, 70 bucks for 2 pizzas, an order of cheese sticks, an order of garlic knots and 4 fountain sodas seems ridiculous. I was definitely surprised when the bill came out, and not in a good way. Probably the first and last trip here.
