I’ve been going to Blue fin for years when I used to work in Claremont. My go to was always chicken teriyaki with a side of California rolls. I went back after some years and glad I did. It was as good as it was then. I love small businesses because I get to support someone’s else’s dream of owning and operating a business and ultimately supporting someone’s family and life. Everyone here is and has always been super friendly and helpful. If you’re coming through Claremont and craving some great food, come show them some love. They have a great patios as well and offer jazz nights I believe. Happy eating friends!

My second time coming here. The hot night roll (shown in my photo) is bomb. They’re a little pricey and menu is preeettty confusing but since we go for food, I’m giving 4 tars. That one roll seemed to tide me over for lunch but would need more for dinner and that’s gonna rack up. Only docking them a star for price.

Sushi here is pretty good for a quick bite. We love taking the kids here when we want sushi so we don’t have to deal with the hassle of a restaurant and kids. The owner is awesome and so friendly. She always brings out the kids their food right away and sometimes gives them free soup. As far as cleanliness, it could use some love! Overall I recommend it especially when you don’t want to go to a full restaurant for sushi.

In the world of sushi, Blue Fin has great variety and quality. Owners are friendly and helpful if you don’t know the menu. I’ve been going for years and they’ve always been reliable and consistent. Love they music offerings on their patio. Usually grabbing and going but have enjoyed their patio dining option. During Covid the owner has brought our order to the car.

First time here and man let me tell you!! I am a chef and I’m super excited for finding this gem! The restaurant itself smells and looks clean! Every piece of fish that came out still had this bright fresh look to it. My new favorite sushi spot hands down!! And the prices are really good!! Will definitely be returning again and again!!!!

Stopped here randomly after the place on google said it was open but was actually closed. It’s a nice little spot with outdoor dining but what really deserves the 5 stars is the lady that provides ha service and of course the food. She greeted us with such a bubbly personality and told us to come see her when we were ready. We were sitting outside and once we got up to order she ran in super exited like we were her first customer and extremely happy for our order. When she delivered the food she came out and named everything we ordered while placing it. The sushi was great, we ordered 5 appetizers, 2 rolls and 2 green teas and was only about 50 bucks. Last thing my wife said was “I’m coming back here not just for the good but for that lady, she was so happy”. Love that kinda service and type of people ❤️
