Ladies and gentlemen, I live across the street from this place in Garner, North Carolina. I have lived here for seven months in the apartment complex across the street. I go to Food Lion in the shopping plaza five times a week and I see their pizza place. The truth is I didn’t know they were open because there was just a small sign saying they were open. Let me tell you this I got a 10 inch personal supreme pizza with extra cheese 14 bucks there’s a Papa Johns down the road a half a mile DOMINOES around the corner a half a mile. The only thing I’m disappointed about is that I never tried this place earlier. Fresh ingredients a mom and Pop shop 16 years. They’ve been down here out of New York and they get it what it’s like to have a real Pie . I cannot tell you how happy I am with this place. They were very friendly when I pick up my pizza. The quality of this pizza is way better than anything in the garner area.

This is our second time enjoying their delicious food and it doesn’t disappoint. Everything is flavorful and well made. Our favorite pizza/pasta place. The garlic knots are to die for. One order isn’t enough. Good pizza requires time so bring your patience to wait on your food and you won’t be sorry.

Did delivery and it took almost an hour, pizza was cold and garlic knots didn’t have much garlic sauce. The pizza looked nothing like the pictures and was not worth $11 for 10inch.

I ordered a Chefs salad and a pizza (half cheese, half sausage and black olive). The Chefs salad had generous toppings. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing just tasted like vinegar (1 star). The pizza was cooked well, firm crust without much flop (held the toppings well), edges were crispy. The sauce had a sweet tomato flavor, not a lot of seasoning. The half with the toppings had plenty of toppings.

Another one bites the dust. A year+ ago this was my favorite pizza place. Over the last 6 months, the quality has really declined. I keep ordering hoping I’ll get something reminiscent of the past, but am continually disappointed. Very light on the sauce, cheese, and toppings.. half the pizza covered in air bubbles. I knew the fate of my pizza tonight before I opened the box by lack of weight. Geniunely felt like an empty cardboard box. I am compassionate that inflation is forcing restaurants to cut corners, but I’m tired of paying top dollar for medicore (at best) food. 3 stars because this problem isn’t unique to La Roma & they were once great… but tonight will be the last time I ask myself “why do I keep ordering from here.”

We’ve tried just about all the pie shops around Garner, La Roma is the best we’ve found so far. Authentic NY style, they also do Detroit style. Very good pricing compared to other local shops. We will be back!

Great taste. More thin then thick crust was just crispy enough and sauce was excellent. Authentic Canadian bacon, so you know it’s a real pizza place.
