Lee’s spicy chicken is the real thing! It’s juicy and cooked just right, and their seasoning blend is hot, but not extreme. Not only that, they have chicken livers, cooked the way your grandma used to make them, soft and delicious and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was a little ‘blah’ this trip but the green beans were excellent. With a sweet tea to sip on it’s a classic menu no chicken lover should miss.

Portion size of potatoes was a spoon full. Not even half capacity of the container. Chicken was bland. Rather disappointed in this location. They left out my rice. Drive thru hazard. Check 2169. 6.48 pm 8 29.

Do not go here!! In town for business and wanted to try some “famous” Lee’s chicken. At first the customer service was terrible, the drive thru cashier was very rude and snapped at me about being out of Dr pepper, and then about what comes on a certain sandwich.

Check your box before you leave the drive through. Been given original instead of crispy and short changed on the sides. I like this store but it is hit and miss on the food quality. Best time to go is early during lunch time when the chicken is fresh. Stay away from the spicy jumbo dippers.

Quick and easy experience. I grew up in Michigan where I had Lee’s all the time. It’s my mom’s favorite chicken place. I was in Kentucky for work and happened to see this while going down the road. It was smaller than I’m used to, but the good did not disappoint! A quick and tasty alternative to the burger boys. I’d definitely eat here again whenever I’m in town!

This is one of my favorite restaurants, however today someone really dropped the ball. While the chicken tenders are really plump and juicy, today they were petite and dry, I will continue to eat here since this is a very rare occasion, but many more experiences like this and I will stop going.

This is lees chicken has been my favorite and unfortunately it was very disappointing today when I found things in my green beans that look like mill worms, i drove from Versailles to Lawrenceburg to get home and find this surprise, to top it off. It was very irritating when I called multiple times, and received no answer, causing me to have to drive all the way back up there, I have normally had a very good experience with the employees, but they were very disrespectful and distant. I would include photos, but this lees location apparently does not allow it for their reviews.

I love Lee’s recipe but the one in lawrenceburg ky is by far the worst. The food was super greasy, the employees was rude an nasty when u ask for anything or even when u say thank u. They have alot of sitting but want to cram everyone up in the first lil room but mainly because of the attitude of one particular employee I won’t be back.

Placed my order & wondered why it was cheaper than expected. Got to window & found out why… the person ordering rang up the wrong meal AND they charged me for the 2nd side instead of it also being included had they rang everything up correctly.

Love love love the fried shrimp. Better than most restaurants that charge a lot more. Chicken is excellent as well as coleslaw.
