We had a delicious lunch at Watami. The food was very tasty and fresh, and service was excellent. We would definitely recommend the Fruit overload, the Spicy Kani Salad, and the Tonkotsu Ramen.

Watami is one of my favorite places in Brunswick. I stop by often just for a bubble tea, which is some of the best I’ve had (I love the classic brown sugar bubble milk tea or the fruit overload tea). It’s also a fantastic choice for a good lunch or dinner! I find it to be very well priced for such good and high quality food. The staff are kind and efficient. I am always happy with this restaurant.

Great little place in Brunswick. Their cheese foam on top of tea is sooooo good.

We had a lovely dinner. Considering we went a bit overboard on ordering we expected the bill to be higher. The food was well prepared as well. They are competing against a few sushi and Japanese style places and my wife and were quite pleased we switched it up tonight. Definitely worth stopping in.

Had a late lunch here with a group of 8 and was favorably impressed by how quickly the food came out to us. Everything was delicious – the sushi was fresh and cold, the ramen was piping hot with very flavorful broth, and all of the custom poke bowl orders came out exactly as we’d asked. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The entrance was a little hard to find – it’s actually on the back side of the building, down a flight of stairs!

Oh so good . Of course I forgot to take pictures until after diving in to four different appetizers. That was probably enough for my wife and I, but we had to share a dinner also. Everything was delicious and we can hardly wait to go back and try some more different items. I’ll try to remember pictures. So far our favorite appetizer was the “Dinosaur egg”. See you really soon

Excellent sushi and sashimi. My wife had the soba noodle bowl which she said was excellent.

Watami is my go-to place for sushi in Brunswick. Fresh fish and fantastic presentation, even on takeout orders. The servers are attentive but give you space to enjoy your meal. I typically dine alone, yet they always greet me warmly and never rush me out. Their bubble milk teas and slushes are tasty (I recommend the brown sugar and the mango pomelo sago), but I’d steer clear of the mixed drinks. Their cocktails are a little too sweet and syrupy. Ambience is a bit lacking as well: no windows and harsh lighting. They stay open later than most restaurants on Maine Street, which is a huge plus.

To go order. I ordered the spicy Tonkotsu ramen. My ramen had a nice kick to it. I liked the bamboo shoots that accompanied the bowl. The pork was nice and tender. My friend kind of enjoyed their ramen. She enjoyed her nigiri sushi. I enjoyed the sushi I had – chicken tempura roll. It had a good crunch to it. Might give their food another go if I’m in the area.

Waited patiently all summer for Watami to open and it was totally worth it! huge menu selection. We ordered sushi rolls, a make your own poke bowl (we picked tuna), a pork jowl ramen bowl, brown sugar bubble tea, and a white peach oolong tea hot with cheese foam (sounds odd, and tastes like a light cheesecake topper and makes your tea creamy and DELICIOUS!). Every single bite of food was beautiful and flavorful. The decor is light and inviting and spacious, music was just a teensy bit too loud at one point, but as the restaurant filled up, it was a helpful damper to nearby conversations. We will be back soon!
