The Circle M has been at this location for many years. It was there when green houses and a small farm were across Wantagh Ave. The food is good, the service was excellent. Still has the small town charm.

Coffee was Mud Even 7 creamers didnt bring it to a creamy color Waitress said she could add HOT WATER !!! The Ham & egg sandwich was like chewing rubber…The waitress charged for the coffee even though we gave them back…

I had the pot roast with mashed potatoes and peas, and was disappointed. The original gravy was red and had an odd taste to it, I had to request brown gravy. The meat itself was extremely tender, but it was the wrong cut of meat for pot roast, this would have made a beautiful roast beef. When you cook a poy roast, you need a higher fat ratio, otherwise you have a tasteless cut of mest from being cooked for so long. The mashed potatoes had too much pepper, and the peas were CANNED, not fresh or frozen, but canned!! The greek salad was loaded with feta cheese, but dressing was pink in color and not greek dressing at all. The lentil soup was very good, it would be hard to mess that up. The price was very good, just wish the food had been.

Usually the food is pretty good here. The eggs Benedict for breakfast are very good as are the shell steaks for dinner. I was disappointed when I ordered a Ceasar Salad to go. When I opened it there was no cheese. Just a bunch of lettuce and croutons, Not a true Caesar Salad but it was fresh. So many other things to try. Will definitely go back.
