I love Domenico’s! However, this new “weigh everything” before you make the sandwich has proven to be an “achilles heal” when it comes to their (what used to be) stellar product. I’m shocked to see their sandwiches now because of the lack of deli meat. I would say, the amount of meat has been “cut in half” (at least). It’s such a skimpy amount that it’s hard to order a sandwich on one of their delicious freshly baked rolls, unless you prefer mostly bread, condiments, & produce.

The sandwiches here are amazing! You can custom order them however you’d like and they will not disappoint. Cost is a tad high but it’s Danville and your taste buds will be happy. I went out of my way today to get a sandwich here after another spot failed to meet certain sandwich standards I have set for myself.

Really wanted to like this place since we’ve seen good reviews and have been in search of a good local deli. Unfortunately, the service missed the mark for the price we paid. Portions were not worth the price point and the Italiano sub came out with no mozzarella which is the first ingredient in the description. We essentially got bread, dressing, and some lettuce. When we reported an issue, we just got some extra sliced mozzarella on the side. Pretty disappointed with the service.

Picked up some sandwiches on a Saturday at about noon. The deli was crowded. Waited for about 10 minutes in line before ordering. The sandwiches were delicious! Service was very good as well.

Sandwiches are good, but when you order through Doordash, the order is prepared by the café area, not the Deli…. Nobody was waiting, but by order took like 45 to be prepared (just 2 sandwiches)

Food is excellent. Service is average. Prices are a little high. Lines are long and wait times are 20-45 minutes to order and receive your food. Limited indoor seating. Usually very crowded inside when lines are long.
