I visited on a Saturday about 10 a.m. The menu is extensive, and there are Senior and Kid’s menu items. My eggs, pancakes, and bacon were hot and tasty. Real butter is available. The service was attentive; my coffee was refilled twice. There are booths and table seating available, and the prices are reasonable.

I was passing through town and was referred to this restaurant by a local. We stop shortly afternoon on a Friday and had no trouble getting a seat. Everybody that took care of us was super friendly. The place is nothing fancy but, the food is absolutely perfect. I like to consider myself an expert in patty melts, they had the best patty melt that I’ve ever had and I have had… Hundreds. The thing was huge and really tasty and was less than 10 bucks with a giant pile of steaming hot fries. It’s a small town and kind of out of the way but if you’re stopping through you should stop and get a patty melt. My wife had the pork tenderloin which was also quite good.

Amazing staff and pretty good food. There was one waitress – I don’t know if she’s new – who was not friendly at all. The other waitresses, Lisa and I forgot the other lady’s name, are extremely sweet every time.

If you are looking for a great breakfast at a great price – try the Riverside Family Restaurant. The portions were perfect and the food was delicious. The kids loved the pancakes and hash browns. My omelette was perfect. They open early and close at 3:00 PM (breakfast is served all day).
