I didn’t know what I was doing, so I got the pre-curated Storrs Special and it was delicious! The woman making it made sure I didn’t want to exclude anything from the selection, so they’re very accommodating. The rice was delicious but it was a lot, so next time I’ll get more salad and less rice. Also, the bowl is cardboard, with a plastic top, but it’s better for the environment than all plastic. Thank you!

I got the Storrs special bowl with kimchi added, and it was amazing!! Definitely recommend adding the kimchi; it was great! Everything was so fresh and flavorful; probably my favorite food I’ve gotten in Storrs!

Omg their food is delicious! I took a chance and ordered the Storrs special and steamed dumplings. Not really knowing what I was getting with the Storrs special it was so good and flavorful omg! I’m impressed. Only thing is the portions are TINY! The dumplings were so small… and the bowl for the Storrs special was small. I was still hungry after eating what was supposed to be my dinner 🙁

I absolutely loved it. The first time I walked in I thought there weren’t many options to choose from, but I was completely mistaken. There are tons of options; they’re just closed so they stay fresh (and man is it fresh!). It tastes like homemade food, super satiating for someone who has a very big appetite like me, and one bowl was only $5.50 cents! Undoubtedly the best place around. You have to try it!

Since I can’t leave a comment under Timothy Hall’s one-star review, I have to make one of my own. I WORK HERE and what Timothy said is NOT TRUE. Any tips that we get in our tip jar are distributed between us employees (as is the case for most restaurants) and added to our paycheck. I don’t know where he got the idea that we don’t make tips from, but it is actually harmful to us workers if people think that we don’t actually get our tips. We work really hard for these by trying to provide the best customer service as possible and if someone feels less inclined to leave a tip because of this review then it’s serving the exact opposite purpose of what he’s trying to accomplish.

The staff today is very unprofessional and unfriendly. I have been in line for a long time, and he just ignored me and started asking the next customer. He touched the outside of the glass panel advertising the list while wearing gloves to hold my food. The store has always refused customers to put their hands over the glass screen which is nice but this guy has no consideration for food hygiene.

Great quality, great service. Every time I go here, the staff is so nice to not only myself, but people ordering for the first time that may be confused. It is a bit pricy, but with how good the food is, it is definitely worth it.

The bowls are actually pretty good but the amount of food you get in them isn’t enough to justify the price. I’ve gone multiple times and each time I order the same bowl i get different amounts of food. The portions are constantly inconsistent.
