I love california Roll. It’s an awesome neighborhood, offering fresh food, and high quality food at reasonable prices, and owner is friendly. I love Korean food and their Korean food is the best. I’m very satisfied with K-hotdog, Special Roll, Hibachi, Fried Rice. I also really enjoy Korean ice cream.

My fiancé and I get takeout from here minimum once a week, it is so consistently good! The rolls are fresh and the prices are extremely fair. We’ve gone to some of the top sushi places in Michigan and I would say this hidden gem can go toe to toe with any of them.

Got the shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and the philadelphia roll and all were pretty good. None of them blew me away but none of them were bad so I enjoyed all the rolls. I also got the basic ginger salad it wasn’t great I’d skip that. The best part is the value. Everything is priced very well. Will go back and try some more.

Ordered the Double Tuna and a Sushi Sampler. The Double Tuna was in no way as shown in the photo, just rice outside of the roll with tuna inside, so what I received was just a Spicy Tuna roll which is $8 less on the menu. Had I wanted a tuna roll I would have ordered it. Very disappointed.

Sushi was fresh and the chicken hibachi meal was delicious! The chicken was tender and flavorful! It’s primarily a takeout spot but they do have one table that seats 2. My daughter and I dined in and the service was amazing! My new favorite sushi spot!

Sushi Tuesday! @californiarollsushibirmingham Tempura Shrimp roll – 2 ways. Chrunch – tempura shrimp with tempura crunchy and a baked Spicy Tempura roll with crab salad and spicy Mayo. Very good. Fresh and favorable!!

One of the unfortunate things about getting sushi delivered is that the exposure of the sushi to the inside of a storage container that is humid and warm really ruins the texture of a lot of rolls.
