Stonehaus White Muscadine This grape is an American variety, not to be confused with the European Muscat. It is native to the southern part of the U.S. and carries with it a beloved nostalgia and strong sense of place for anybody born in these parts. Rock Point Pinot Noir A combination of barrel and stainless steel fermentation is used to preserve the maximum fruit intensity. The wine was finished unfined with only rough filtration, resulting in a Pinot Noir with intense fruit and smooth tannins. Aromas of cedar and pine, mocha, burnt toast and woodland strawberries. Supple tannins, balanced acidity and toasted oak texture the savory mouthfeel.	$12.00

Used to offer Maine Bay & Berry as food, soon to have their own offering so I’m not rating that aspect. Bar service only but it’s great. Seating outside by the stream is second to none on a nice day. Only downside is they seem to serve all their drinks in plastic cups and parking is usually very limited.

If you follow me, you know that I do a lot of reviews on breweries. I stopped at the Voodoo Brewery PUB thinking it was the main location but clearly it’s not. I really like their brews. The State Collage location is small but pretty good with a few issues. Loved the setting next to the stream and walking/bike path but no way to cross over to it. Finding it on Google maps was ok but their sign is very easy to miss. See pic. Parking places are extremely limited. The beers were great and the available food (not part of the place) was excellent. Highly recommend making the stop

Hubby and I had lunch inside by the bar. It was too hot for us outside. We had ordered blue claw crabs. They were, by far, the best for the price I have ever gotten. I lived on the east coast for 60 years. I caught them and bought them my whole life. These crabs were extraordinary! Hubby is a retired chef. We made a yellow tomato crab sauce for our pasta…I really enjoyed it! We got local peaches they were yummy better than any we got near our home….fresh stuff, go there!!!!!!

Salem Sets

Had a lobster roll and a beer and both were fantastic. Service was good and friendly, and sitting out by the small creek was excellent and very relaxing. A little disappointed they didn’t have fries — I was looking forward to them after seeing them on the online menu. Not sure if they don’t do them anymore, or if they were just out this particular day.

My friend and I tried this together for the first time and we loved it. Drinks were really good. Food was really good and was fast to come out to us. We sat outside by the creek in the picnic area. It was a fun time!

A little hole in the wall place right outside of downtown State College. It’s on the ground floor of Maine Bay and Berry Seafood. They have a great selection of beer and also have some good seafood items for food. Wes is one of of the main bartenders and he’s a really nice guy, plus is very efficient. The indoor seating is a little small, but they have a variety of board games. The outside seating is where it’s at as there is a small creek that runs behind the business with a large array of chairs and tables. Great place to relax after work.

Decent enough, but pricey for very very hazy beer – seems to be a hallmark of voodoo’s offerings. Mine has a sulferous aftertaste. Friendly staff, quick service. Eight bucks for a 16 Oz beer, 3.5%
