Great KC BBQ! Caught them just before close. Burnt ends are super tasty and moist. Ribs were a bit fall off bone and good flavor. Love their house bbq sauce! Cheesy corn is great and a nice surprise. The slaw is a dill and light vinegar slaw, beans are on the sweet side with a spicy kick. My entire family preferred Roscoe’s over Joe’s.

I was driving by and saw this little BBQ joint. Service was friendly and she recommended the burnt ends. I also tried the sausage. The sausage is good but not made in house. It was moist and tender.The burnt ends are very good. Great flavor, bark and very tender. One of the best I’ve had in the Kansas City area.

This time I ordered the burnt end and sausage dinner with coleslaw and Frankie’s taters for sides. The food was great and always is everytime. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.

All I can say is WOW! I grew up here in Kansas, moved to Ohio in my 30’s and come back to visit family occasionally. This is the BEST barbecue I have ever had!!! The ribs were juicy, the beef cooked to perfection, and the sausage was out of this world!!! We got the family feast -$105 plus added 1/2 pound of sausage of $8. All to go. It came with large container of baked beans (you can really taste the brown sugar in them), coleslaw (it had dill pickle in it—a strange combo, but amazing!) and fries (crinkle cut with perfect amount of salt). We will definitely be back every time we come to town! Fed our family of four-two adults, 20 year old son, and 18 year old daughter (two body builders) and had plenty of leftovers.

One of the best things in the Kansas City area is the many small barbecue establishments you stumble across. Roscoe’s is a prime example. It’s only open weekdays (11-3 Mondays, 11-5 Tuesdays thru Fridays), but it’s worth leaving work early to pick up some delicious barbecue. I really liked their sauce which had a distinct tangyness to go with the sweet.

When we lived in Edwardsville we ate there quite often. BEST RIBS EVER. MEAT FALLS OFF THE BONES! It’s smoked for 4 hours! Delicious flavor. People are friendly, kind and care about whether you’re happy. We moved away a few years ago and I don’t get out as much but I’m going back there today to get 2 slabs of the best ribs ever!! They even double wrap them for me! That’s customer service PLUS!!! Can’t wait to try the cheesy corn. I love Roscoes!!!
