First, the people who run the restaurant are lovely. They are a sincere couple. Ultimately there are three issues with this restaurant – 1) the service is so sadly slow. Wait times can exceed more than one should ever wait 2) the food – although quality – is overpriced. and lastly 3) Its just plainly overhyped. I know that this may not come off as a positive review, because the people are very genuine who run this restaurant. But its very overhyped. If you’re visiting town I would save yourself the trouble.

Great lunch and cocktails located right off of Main Street in Clayton, great ambiance either inside or outdoors. The outdoor patio is shaded. Service is always good to excellent.

Delicious food! Great atmosphere! I would definitely recommend it. All I can say is that it would have been nice if the wait staff was more attentive. It took a while to get a refill for my drink. Other than that I had a great experience!

What a pleasant surprise to have this kind of healthy food in this small town. Excellent food, great service, beautiful restaurant and coffee was delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating area is just awesome. We will definitely return when we come back to town from NC, thank you for everything.

What a delightful place. Delicious healthy food – pictured here a rueben alternative with broccoli and portobello pita with tzatziki sauce. Both full of flavors. Accompanied with delicious home made pickles and seasonal specialty – watermelon salad. Drinks are a treat too: made by a local mixologist Carlton – blueberry lemongrass and peach lavender with or without Prosecco! All that is served in refreshingly modern take on rustic decorated outdoor patio. Safe distance included!

Wonderful, fresh food with a focus on local purveyors. The menu is concise but thoughtful; there was something for everyone in our group. Everything was perfectly prepared and just so tasty. We sat out on the patio which is really lovely and has a great vibe.

As a small business owner, I love and hate Google reviews. Most are on point but some reviews are ridiculous and have no idea the harm they are causing with a poor review.
