We’ve ordered from Wingos plenty of times and their wings have always been best of the best! Not sure what happened or if recipe changed but wings looked and tasted nothing like the other times we’ve ordered. Wings were super dark soggy and just sitting in oil. They tasted like burnt wings with sauce to cover. Really disappointed as we’ve loved this place for their wings. Ordered the mild wings and bourbon wings

Great food! Great service! Staff was very friendly and attentive! Food was freshly prepared and came out quickly! Had a little of everything, and it was ALL GOOD! Definitely was worth the 2 hours drive! Will definitely be making that drive again very soon! Thanks to the magnificent staff there! Keep up the great work!

I have dined in and taken out here. I am giving 5 stars because they have great management and staff. Food is always ready. However, their wings are nothing special. They’re too crispy for me and whatever oil they cook it in is gross and awful smelling. I taste and smell more oil here than I do the actual chicken and flavor of sauce. I wish they prepared their wings better.

The wings are fire!!! The best wings I’ve had in a long time. Crispy golden in the outside and tender & meaty on the inside. The beignets are to die for, OMG! I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here since my choice for dinner tonight was random. I’ll definitely order again.

Excellent wings, albeit messy. The hot meter is misleading, the mango habanero was not that hot and spicy. Fries were excellent. We sat at the bar, Kahn is an excellent bartender, friendly and attentive service. Will come back again and I highly recommend this spot.

I am a wings guy. I have eaten here twice and simply think the wings are not good. Too salty and flavorless. Service was lack-luster, especially from the guy at the front desk.

The food and strawberry mojito was so delicious. I tried a House salad, lemon pepper and hot honey wings. The lemon pepper wings were the best I’ve ever tasted. You can taste the real lemon juice and flavor is perfectly balanced. Hot honey gave me just the right amount of heat paired with honey. Both were swimming in sauce. Dessert was fried cheesecake and did not disappoint. A strawberry, blueberry, chocolate, or even key lime drizzle would take it to the next level. Staff is warm, attentive and upbeat, music, environment was too. After a 4 hour drive and 2 hours of taking in the monuments, they welcomed us in at midnight with service like they had just opened for the day vs seeming tired and ready to leave. Cannot recommend highly enough. Should have remembered pics of food. Will definitely dine here every time I am in DC.
