first time here for lunch with my daughter, wasn’t sure what to order so we chanced it with Tea Leaf Salad – freshly assembled, very good flavor. chicken lettuce wraps – wonderfully flavorful dish. and a small chicken curry appetizer that was very tasty but not too curry strong. Will be going back here soon! Unfortunately, I was too busy enjoying the good food to take a photo! Nice presentation though.

Interior and seating is nice and comfy. Looks like a hole in the wall outside, but is nicer on the inside. This is somewhere casual you go with friends or family. Menu is extensive, and some pictures could be better, but the same theme applies in that the food itself also is nicer. Portions are generous.

Great restaurant, food and service. We went there as a huge family group of about 15, and they accommodated us on one side of the restaurant, took our orders and served the food promptly. The food was delicious, with a fantastically long Vegan menu (there’s a full separate appetizer page, and two more pages of entrees). This was our first time eating Burmese: the food seems to resemble Indian food on the one hand, Thai food on the other, with some unique blend of its own added in.

We loved Shwe Myanmar Burmese. It was excellent. In my opinion, the Best Burmese food in the Bay Area. I have eaten at 5-6 places including Ruby Rangoon, Minglaba, Burma Burma, Burma Experience and couple of others.

We got a Cream cheese wonton puff – they are little droplets of heaven, I could eat them daily, and Parata with Shaw Myanmar coconut chicken curry W/ potatoes for appetizers, OMG the taste would just stay in your memory and makes your glands watery imagining it, I didn’t expect that to be that delicious.

Four pages of vegan food?!?! Is this real life?! Why yes it is! And it was delicious!! The tea leaf salad was spectacular. My parents were so confused by how tasty it was. I loved the use of tomato in the dishes. The veggies were all super fresh. The okra was crisp and not slimy. The samosa and pakora with onion soup was such a good combo. Everythjng was good that I ordered more to take home with me. You gotta check this place out! I really appreciate that the vegan options were not a sad after thought. Thank you!

Imperial Sesame chicken, Coconut Chicken with Potatoes and the Coconut Rice were delicious. Samosas were good but the some of the Samosas were cold on the inside like they weren’t completely cooked all the way through.

We ordered tea salad, ginger salad and spicy tofu – all vegetarian dishes. The service was very attentive and they even gave us a dessert they were trying out. And there are lots of vegetarian dishes on their menu. Will definitely come back.
