It’s hard to not compare it to Reggi’s given they shared the same space, but given I went two days in a row and got the same lunch special twice tells me to trust my gut (or taste buds). The pulled pork is generous in portion, lean, and not lacking in flavor (get the slaw and add the homemade hot sauce on the side to the sauce they put on the sandwich).

We came here for lunch for the 2nd time within 3 weeks.The girl at the counter must have been shy or just unfriendly,we stood there waiting for her to say can i take your order or something but she just stood there looking so we finally walked up to her side of the counter and just started telling her what we wanted,she didnt give us all of our drink cups so we had to ask for the one we didnt get,we ordered the pulled pork plate and a chicken finger kids meal,the bbq has been very delicious in the past but this time a 1/4 of it was fat and very cold,no warmth at all ,not sure what was up with that,Also i was kinda surprised by the lack of bbq for the price,there was more sides than the ratio to bbq ,the fries were very warm and fresh,the potato salad was the best weve ever had! We ordered banana pudding after we ate our meal and it was very delicious also!! Overall food was great except cold bbq.Not sure if where they are keeping it isnt keeping it warm properly or what.We will try again but the coldness kinda knocked our excitement down about how good it was.Give it a try and see what ya think.Overall good taste

Nice little place with friendly staff. Had the turkey special and it was excellent in taste, quantity and price. Husband had the cheesy jalapeño sausage and brisket. He loved it. Good side salad and spicy green beans too. Will be our go to spot for dinner next time staying in Jackson.

The first visit was excellent. The food seems to be priced high until you realize the portion sizes are generous. The food was also excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back again and again.

Went for a late lunch with my wife. The staff greeted us with a friendly greeting. We both ordered the nachos, one with pork and one with brisket. Both trays arrived at our table after a short wait. The portions were very large. The taste was ok for nachos. There were a large portion of chips, small spoon serving of sour cream, pico and premade guacamole. The flavors of the pork and brisket were great. We were really disappointed in the portions of meat. There couldn’t have been more than 4 ounces of meat. For the price of these items, $17 for pork and $21 for brisket, I would expect a lot more meat. 2 nachos and 2 drinks were almost $50. Bottom line, taste was good, from what little bit of meat I had but protein portions were not equal to menu pricing.

It’s NOT Reggie’s anymore & it shows… When it was Reggie’s, it was a go to for flavor & the variety of wings. Unfortunately those days are gone & I won’t be back. No chopped bbq brisket & no lemon pepper wings. Smh.
