Where does this deli even get a basis for its prices? If you come here be prepared for an outrageous total. No where is $17.50 acceptable for a simple turkey sandwich.

Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.
I had a nice juicy (but not messy) brisket sandwich.

One of my favorite places to eat. There are so few kosher delis left but they are one of the best I have eaten at.

I’ve been coming here my whole life, the pastrami sandwich is amazing, but my favorite thing to get is a hot dog. Simple, but my favorite hot dog I’ve ever had. The decor hasn’t changed one bit since I started going there, and it’s a welcomed space, frozen in time, with a unique charm. Limited seating– a few booths and a counter– but I’ve never had to wait for a space. Don’t forget to get a cream soda with your meal!

3rd time in a row we got left over fries that were lousy..they need to reconsider serving fries that have been left out for too long..We do know the difference!

Stopped in for the first time today because I was craving a Pastrami on Rye. My wife and I ordered a Pastrami on Rye, Spinach Kinish, Hot Dog w/Must/Kraut & a order of fries. The service was fast and friendly but the food other than the Hot Dog was terrible. The Pastrami was dry and cold. My wife wasn’t sure if her Kinish was even Spinach she thought it tasted odd maybe was Broccoli. The French Fries we’re overdone and most likely reheated.

I came in today to place an order. The staff was cleaning the dirty sink with the same gloves they use to serve food. It was really gross and disappointing. The other staff member sneezed into his gloves and than proceeded to pick up Knish with the same dirty glove to serve to customer. This place does not follow proper DOH guidelines.

This is one of the few remaining authentic kosher delicatessens. They serve accurate renditions of traditional fare, pastrami, corned beef, and other sandwiches; chicken soup with matzoh balls; potato pancakes and more. Kosher food, pricey compared to non-kosher, but worth it. Small restaurant, with a few tiny tables.

Nothing like it anywhere around. Hands down the best deli on LI. The meats are outstanding and the hotdogs are an addiction to anyone that tried them

i came in from out of town and ordered a pastrami sandwich. 17 dollars buys you 6 slices of pastrami…… Really? That’s the best you can do for 17 bucks? This place will close in no time and be a distant memory.
