BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! The only hibachi I’ve ever had that came with noodles. The food was so flavorful and everyone who works there was kind. Chef was hilarious, waiter was attentive, and the portions were HUGE. So happy and can’t wait for another reason to go back.

Great little Japanese Steak House! The food was very good. The server and the chef were very attentive. Great family owned business with a great atmosphere. Location is right off 459 and very convenient. It’s rarely packed as it should be. These people love to serve and cook for you. Bring your friends and family!

Beautiful atmosphere and AMAZING food! Literally everything that we had was delicious! They have a really awesome anime-themed sushi bar, probably the first I’ve ever seen in Birmingham! The staff members are such a joy to meet and truly make you feel like family! Definitely a must-try if you’re ever in the area!

My mom actually told me we needed to try here because our cat is named Ryu! We were not disappointed at all! The food was delicious and service was lovely. The people in the restaurant were very nice, and our nerdy selves loved the decor and food names. We tried the monkey brain appetizer, ryu roll, ryonosuke (spelling?) Roll, umi roll, Mr. Crab roll, and the Sakura. Everything was extremely well prepared, and the spicy sauce they use was one of my highlights. We definitely recommend it and will be back.

We unfortunately won’t be back. Restaurant didn’t seem that busy when we walked in, but we were told there was a 15-20 minute wait for our party of 4, which is reasonable. However, when we were seated, we then waited for over 60 minutes for our chef to come to our area. We had already decided to leave as he was rolling up to our area. Our waitress tried to charge us the entire cost of our dinner, even though we did not receive it.

NOPE. I am not one to complain, but I will not be back. Something was off about the flavor of the soup so I politely informed the waiter that it wasn’t good. The food was mediocre at best. After asking a couple of questions I was basically told it had been served all day and no one else had complained!

My husband and I came in for dinner tonight, it was our first time and it was amazing! The atmosphere was awesome. We had Micheal as our waiter and he was so friendly and great, the sushi chef made sure we were happy also. Everyone in the restaurant was super friendly!! We had the hibachi and also sushi, it was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to come back; thank you for having us!
