We tried the fish. Wow!!! I had the broiled grouper. It was recommended by Justin. He was incredibly helpful. Can’t say I have had better fish anywhere. It was just perfect. Kind of a foodie, so give it a try.

I have been here several times and never had a problem like this. The fries were so salty it was like a salt lick. The western burger was so salty I couldn’t even taste the BBQ sauce. I called to let them know and the person who answered said, “Oh thanks I’ll let them know.” Didn’t offer to remake it for me or anything. If you F up like this you should replace the order or make it right in some way. I have worked in the service industry for years including restaurants and this is very unacceptable. I eat pretty salty foods too so it is not just a difference in palette.

I wish I could leave a 3.5. 4 when it is good, 3 when it is not. Fish fry is hit or miss. Staff is always friendly so I go when I am craving a fish fry because I have not found any other place that does it better yet. Not sure what they do to their coleslaw, but it is the worst I’ve ever had. Fish is good size portion, though sometimes can be grease logged. When it is not, it is actually good.

Only had the perch on Friday, but it’s the best in Oshkosh. Even beats the Roxy which is hard to do but they have the breading down to perfection consistently. Super friendly/fun staff. This place is well worth stopping by. I’d give it 6 stars just for what a great time I had socializing with the staff if I could.
