It was my first time at a hibachi grill, but it was a great experience. The food was amazing. We had the yakitori, tomo hibachi special, California roll, and special christmas roll. They were all delicious. It was fun to watch the food being made. The drinks were well made too. The waitress was very attentive and helpful as well. The price is higher than I would normally spend, but food was well worth it.

I wish there were more restaurants in Cleveland like Tomo . The food is excellent and fresh . By far the best sushi and sashimi in the entire region .. I see people speaking of the small portions .. Tomo is about quality , not quantity. After living in NYC 25 years I’m happy to have discovered Tomo

The sushi chef here is amazing!!! I have only found one other place in the US with a chef this skilled. I had surgery and can’t currently eat rice. This chef used shredded crab instead of rice to make me a specialty roll. It was fantastic. Avocado and cucumber on the inside. Wrapped in shredded crab and topped salmon. Basically all protein. If you like sushi/sashimi this is the place to come.

This place has been around for a long time. The food is just ok. The worst part was the miso soup which was basically just water. I ordered a filet hibachi and I’m pretty certain it was not filet. Otherwise everything was just fine and tasted ok. I probably wouldn’t go back anytime soon.

During the RNC here in Cleveland I stopped in to TOMO. The staff was exemplary. The restaurant is family friendly. They have live action hibachi cooking which is always an amazing dinner experience. They have fresh sushi. A great wine list. Beers from around the world. This place is a world class experience.

We were the only diners at 4:15 so we got great service! Able to park right out front at a meter. We ordered Sashimi and Hibachi Scallops, our Hibachi chef was fun, and the food was tasty. The only drawback was lack of patrons and the odor was a bit heavy as was the salad dressing, too much for the salad size.

Tomo was an amazing experience. My sister and I brought our dogs and they were able to accommodate us outside and even brought them a dog bowl! The food was delicious, I would definitely recommend the gorilla roll! Lily, our server was so kind and helpful. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you Tomo!!

Waited an hour for hibachi to start when it was slow! I considered waking out the very second I knew it was going to be bad service, but stayed as my friend insisted. Terrible and I’d never go back. I recommend Fujiyama in Avon for hibachi! The food was bland, food was cold since the cook didn’t know how to cook all at once, drinks weren’t attended to, I was left to sit by myself while getting there without being offered a drink or app, had to ask for my check because I would’ve sat there longer. DO NOT GO THERE! Plus the bathrooms aren’t disability accessible. 0/5 stars if I could be realistic. Honestly I wish I asked for a 100% refund. We just left, got there at 7:30 and we left at 10!!! Ridiculous! It wasn’t even busy! That’s very telling!!!
