While driving up Rt29, leaving the Charlottesville area, I stopped in to this Bojangles near the airport for a chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. The folks working the counter were pretty friendly and the inside was relatively clean. My food tasted decent and was fresh. My only issue was that there was someone sleeping in the lobby and I don’t mean they were just passed out, but they were cuddled up in a blanket with their shoes off, laying on the floor next to their booth and they had a bag next to the booth (clothing/personal items?). I’m not sure if it was an employee, homeless person, or customer, but it was very odd and definitely not appropriate for a restaurant.

The staff seemed out of it. My food was old. I went back and they tried to heat up more old food. I let them keep the food and the money, had to get out of there immediately! Picked wrong place to stop off the highway. Never going back there

The fact that they greet you with the whole “It’s Bo Time” thing, really makes you feel like this isn’t going to be your average fast food drive thru experience, even though it most certainly will be. You give them money and you usually get the food you ordered. And you don’t even have to get out of your car.

My order was missing food, which I discovered when I got home. I called immediately, but they could not offer a refund unless I brought the food all the way back to them. I’m not sure how I’m supposed to show them missing food to show it wasn’t there. I’m pretty disappointed.

Tenders were tepid & not tender. Cole slaw is hard, tastes funny & is dryish. Biscuits are flat, no butter, no honey. DRY. First time here and will NEVER be back.
