The best burger I’ve had in a while. Gluten free buns were great. The Super Melt was fantastic. The grilled chicken sandwich was also great. Fiesta fries were pretty good and only a small up charge on the meal. People complain about price but what restaurant isn’t on the expensive side these days. Definitely recommend!

Food was okay had to find a table all of the tables were not bussed. They told us to leave our stuff and that someone would clean it up. There was at least 13 tables that had not been cleaned in both sides of the restaurants. Then to see a mom at the bar drinking with the baby on her lap and a sippy cup on the bar seemed high class for Hy-Vee…… Was not impressed.

This Wahlburger is, as are most in Missouri, located in a Hy-Vee grocery store. Atmosphere is ok but not a restaurant vibe. Burger was good. Ordered mine well done because that’s what I do. Fries were hot and crisp but nothing special. Hubby had the sweet potato tots and they were great.

Yes, this hamburger place is located inside the Hy-vee Grocery Store. But don’t be deceived, this place is an awesome dining destination. The burgers are great, and there’s a lot of seating options. It’s also a good place to go if you’ve got a group of people who all want to eat something different.

We sat at the only table that had been bussed. No one else there. It was disgustingly dirty. Then one of the food workers sat right by us (at a dirty table) and watched a tv show on her phone that was turned so loud it was hard to have a conversation with my husband. Food is pretty good, but I doubt if we return.

It was priced way too high and over hyped for what you get. The Mac salad side had way too many bell peppers for a good flavor and pasta over cooked. Fries were perfect, but it’s french fries. Also had fried pickles, which had very little pickle flavor but super crispy with a superb sauce. The size and taste of the burger compared to the price was disappointing. Bair’s would be a WAY better choice!!!

The service was fairly quick. The burger was ok but tasted bland. They supposedly use their special sauce on it but couldn’t taste it. The tater tots were good and tasted just like Sonic’s. It was an ok experience but nothing to go out of your way for.

I didn’t know what to expect given’ this was in Hy-Vee. I had the Fiesta Burger with Onion Strings paired with a Wahlbrewski. I was pleasantly surprised that this was definitely one of the best burgers in town. The onion string were a unique spin on onion rings as they were very thin and crispy. You walk right in as part of the grocery store but it is set up like a sports bar with tvs all around and many brews on tap. I’m not sure how this will fair long term in Springfield within a grocery store but I highly recommend as it’s never good to shop for groceries while you are hungry.
