We were heading to the outlet mall and Iron Chef was the closest Japanese restaurant we could find. First impressions were great as it’s a nice stand alone building with a lot of character. Food was also good especially the teriyaki beef! What I really didn’t like was the super sticky and yucky wooden tables.

I’ve just returned here after ten years. Recently returned to my hometown, so had to take my s.o here. She was quite impressed. The food is still wonderful and the service is quick, precise, and attentive. The grounds is still lovely for a stroll, before or after a delicious meal. I do hope they update the grounds, though. It was thriving and lively when I was there last, but now it displays a lack of tlc. None the less, we’re definitely going to be including this restaurant into our regular rotation.

Fantastic, service is top notch and the rolls are all worth trying. A must stop for anyone looking for incredible sushi. Take a walk around the grounds after, if possible.

Visited family Upstate and everyone was craving hibachi so we decided to try Iron Chef. My boyfriend and I arrived earlier then the rest of my family, so we asked the man in front (possibly manager) if it was okay to sit by the bar and order food. He replied rudely asking “aren’t you going to eat Hibachi?”. I said Yes, but we want to start off with some sushi and drinks if that’s okay??? We sat at the bar, ordered some sushi and a French Martini. The sushi was very good and my boyfriend loved his martini. Our family came and since not everyone (2 people) weren’t there yet he wouldn’t let us sit down, guy was weird and got into a little awkward thing with my aunt but we let it go and sat down.

I made reservations at this restaurant for my sister’s birthday and we had an excellent experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. They also followed all food allergy precautions. Then, they surprised my sister with a birthday song that played on surround sound speakers throughout the entire restaurant. I highly recommend this location to anyone who loves a great hibachi spot! Food was delicious and portion sizes were on point as well! We came a second time this year for her birthday, Jason was the one who cooked our hibachi. We came an hour before closing and felt terrible, yet he still made the experience phenomenal. His energy was outstanding. He truly made the restaurant/hibachi experience worthwhile.

We went and had a pretty bad experience. First off, the food was DELICIOUS. But the service was not so great nor was the atmosphere. We went and they had like today’s music blasting. We thought it would be more formal or classic. On top of that, we barely saw our waiter. He stopped by once when we came in and once to give us the check. Didn’t check up on us at all. Then we saw a bunch of waiters talking and laughing loudly while we were trying to call them over. Our food was also cross-contaminated. I’m allergic to shellfish and the meal we ordered called for it. We didn’t know until he served us and it was too late. When we told them, he continued to cook the shellfish and mixed it in with the chicken, the beef, and the rice. I could not eat what my family ate. I missed out and was unable to enjoy it. We not only told him once but several times and he didn’t stop or clean the stove. We were furious and I had to leave hungry. Would not go here again…

So good. Large portion which is odd for hibachi. Sushi was great too. Such a pretty place only down side was you could smell the dumpster outside. It was hot AF and muggy so… But will def make this a go to more often.
