Had dinner with a large group of colleagues here. We had a three course meal. From the starter of salad or fried calamari to entrees of filet mignon or ribeye, to dessert of tiramisu or cheesecake, every dish was cooked to perfection. Every turn to look at the plates, they were empty. The service was attentive and quick. We had a great evening dining here and will definitely come back.

Bar food not to be overlooked. Lamb lollipops, Bang Bang Shrimp (little bit of heat) and Margherita Pizza. Yes, pizza. Used to be an Italian restaurant with a pizza oven and they just kept it. Wasn’t too bad. Good for a group to share. Bar area pretty roomy. Bartenders are friendly and professional.

I had lunch here yesterday. As soon as I sat down i noticed there was gunk stuck on my fork. When i handed it to the waiter he just took it without looking at it or saying anything and gave me another one. I would have assumed he would at least apologize for putting something down so obviously dirty.

The porterhouse was cooked perfectly and was delicious. It is a dry aged steak with bold flavors. The creamy spinach is a win and great match with the steak. Tried the house cabernet and wasn’t so dry so it was very enjoyable. Shrimp was fresh and cooked nicely. Servers very friendly and service was very professional. I have come for business meals, family events and just to hangout with friends, so by experience I recommend it for any occasion

I would like to start with the service which is immaculate, our server was very friendly, engaging. The steak was tender ; cooked to a perfect medium rare . Even the sides was seasoned well. The thin slices of garlic on the broccoli was incredible. I am a big fan of tiramisu and it was so delicious. I made sure I saved room for dessert. It was a special occasion and we felt welcomed throughout our dining experience .I would definitely recommend.

We celebrated my husband’s milestone birthday at Bobby Van’s Grill on W. 50th Street and it was a wonderful event. The restaurant manager and staff were so gracious, attentive and accommodating to every detail and request for our guests. In the previous weeks in planning this event with the coordinator, all my questions were answered and helpful suggestions were offered where needed.

Food was great and a few of the servers that wasn’t my server were nice, but the overall experience left me and my family feeling okay at the end of the meal even though the price should have left us feeling the opposite. This is a beautiful building inside and would look amazing during the holidays. We did not come in super late where they were closing up, it was 9:30pm. So it was not super busy and other tables were served and greeted in a timely fashion compared to us to add to the night. To the few that were nice enough to check on us and the cooks major props, but to our server I hope it was just not your night and it eventually got better for you. I honestly wish anyone else a great experience here it seems like it would be fantastic, but I do not feel that we will be back to visit if we come to Manhattan again.
